The Boker Savannah is a professional hunting and outdoor knife with a massive blade and elegant lines. The design by Armin Stütz, Messerschmiede SteirerEisen, draws from his extensive experience with big game hunting in South Africa and was created in collaboration with professional rangers. The massive blade has a light stonewash finish and is made from cobalt-alloyed N690. Running through at full thickness, the full tang gives the knife its extraordinary stability. The handle scales of certified imported Cocobolo wood create a traditional look. Mounted stainless steel bolsters and a lanyard hole complete the model. A powerful and appealing companion for all outdoor activities. Comes with a high-quality leather sheath.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th century. In the 1800’s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in the various wars that were going on in Europe at the time. In the1860’s the company had split with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products. Both used the “Tree Brand” logo. The “Tree Brand” logo represents the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th century.
