Hardly any other knifemaker has influenced the field of tactical knives as much as William H. “Bill” Harsey, his designs have earned him an excellent reputation in the knife world. His modification of the legendary Boker Applegate-Fairbairn combines the knife used by many elite units with modern elements. The larger blade width and more favourable geometry of the double edged 440C blade improve the cutting properties, while the blade length offers an optimal compromise between agility and utility value. The tang reaches out of the end of the handle and it can be used as a glassbreaker. The CNC machined handles of green canvas micarta are extremely durable and comfortable and these offer a perfect grip even in wet environments. It comes with a premium tactical sheath made by Spec-Ops Brand (USA) in black.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th century. In the 1800’s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in the various wars that were going on in Europe at the time. In the1860’s the company had split with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products. Both used the “Tree Brand” logo. The “Tree Brand” logo represents the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th century.
